Shipping & Taxes/Duties
General Shipping Information
At Tier One, we are committed to ensuring that your products reach you in a timely and efficient manner. Our shipping policies are designed to provide clarity and confidence as you shop with us.
Shipping Destinations and Courier
- Service Area: We offer shipping to North America, exclusively utilizing DHL Express for its reliability and efficiency.
- International Orders: For customers outside North America, please visit our sister site, www.Tier-One.eu, for relevant shipping options.
Shipping Costs and Transit Times
- Transit Times: Most shipments are delivered within 3-6 working days from dispatch. Please note that these times are estimates and may vary based on location and external factors.
- Additional Handling Time: For bipod orders, an additional 24 hours is required for assembly and curing of adhesives to ensure stability during transit.
Shipping Limitations
- Non-Delivery Areas: Deliveries cannot be made to PO Box addresses.
Insurance, Taxes and Duties
- Since 29th August, US Customs and Border Patrol will now charge duties and taxes on every shipment (the previous $800 personal threshold exemption has been removed by the current Administration).
- We have partnered with a Utah company, Zonos to collect and pay these duties and taxes for you.
- At checkout you will see 2 shipping options.
- One shipping rate INCLUDES all duties and taxes. If you select this option, we will collect the duties and remit them to US Customs on your behalf, and you will NOT be required to pay anything else to receive your shipment; the total charge is calculated and paid at checkout.
- If you select the shipping option without duties and taxes included, you will STILL be required to pay those taxes and duties, by law, but they will be charged when the item arrives Stateside. The goods will not be released by US CBP until all duties and taxes have been paid.
- Shipping is by Express tracked courier DHL; if you require a FedEx shipment due to remote location please let us know in the order notes. Please note we cannot deliver to a PO Box address.
Tracking Your Order
- Tracking Information: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email containing a tracking number.
- Package Tracking: To monitor the progress of your shipment, please enter your tracking number on the DHL tracking page.

- Origin: All products are shipped from our own facility in the UK, where they are designed, manufactured and finished in full in a single manufacturing ecosystem ensuring quality and authenticity. Nothing is made in China, EVER!

COMPETITION MONOMOUNT
The Tier One Competition Monomount was designed and tested for use with high spec competition rifle scopes. It features longer spacing between the mount's rings, 5.4"reach from end to end for enhanced stability.
KEY BENEFITS:

All Tier-One Monomounts are precision made, one piece scope mounts designed to withstand very heavy professional use. Engineered with tolerances finer than a human blood cell, and manufactured from aerospace grade aluminum, they are lightweight and extremely tough.
HOW TO ORDER
Select your Monomount from the drop down menu above, according to the tube size, height and MOA/MIL incline that you require.
The Monomount comes without accessory top rails as standard. If you would like to order an accessory top rail these can be ordered separately from the same page. Simply select the item from the same drop down menu and add to cart.
When you check out, your cart will show the Monomount and the Top Ring Accessory Rail as separate items. This is the correct way to order.

DESIGN & MANUFACTURE
These are made to our original design and manufactured in house at our state of the art facility on 5 axis CNC machinery.
NOTHING FROM TIER ONE IS OUTSOURCED TO CHINA.
Incredible care and attention has been taken to ensure tolerances are kept extremely tight across the entire manufacturing process, and we machine all critical faces in one operation which prevents inaccuracies from resetting the machine tools between operations.
This means tighter groups for you, and more rounds on target.
The design also incorporates an anti-cant bubble in bright yellow/green for maximum visibility in day or night conditions.
These rings are built tough; they can withstand multiple heavy impacts with zero poi shift.
They are also built accurate - there are very few mounting systems on the market that come close to the level of engineering, design and manufacturing precision that we have applied to the Tier One Monomount system. What's the difference? We machine our mounts to 3 microns tolerance - thinner than a human blood cell - and we use a proprietary 'one hit' machining method to machine every critical face in a single operation, totally eliminating tolerance errors caused by retooling.
All our products come with a lifetime warranty on parts and defects.
MATERIALS
We machine these one piece mounts from solid billets (metal bar stock) of 7075 T6 aluminium which is an extremely light and tough alloy. The mount is then anodised to mil-spec 30 microns thickness to ensure a long life.
Check out our images above to see a 10 year old Monomount next to a current model and see how it held up under regular use - it's still in great shape, and working as it did when it left the workshop.
All the screws are manufactured in house on our own machines because we wanted to ensure total accuracy in every component and the only way we could ensure that was by controlling the whole manufacturing supply chain.
Additional screws are available if you lose one and need a perfectly matched replacement.

- 45-Degree (canted) and RAPTAR Ring Top Accessory rails are available only in 30mm and 34mm tube sizes.
- Side mounted picatinny rails are available in all sizes.

RETURN POLICY
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase you're protected by our 30 day return policy. Just return the mounts to us in unused condition and we'll replace, exchange or refund you, whichever you prefer.
