Warranty and Consumer Return Policy

At Tier One, we strive to ensure that all our customers are satisfied with their purchases. However, we understand that there may be instances where returns are necessary. This policy outlines the terms under which returns and exchanges are accepted.

This policy applies to items purchased directly from Tier One. If you have purchased from a 3rd party you must contact them first and follow their returns policy.

Return Period

  • Eligibility Window: Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the date of purchase. Returns attempted beyond this period will not be accepted.

Condition of Returned Items

  • Condition Requirements: Items must be returned unused, unmarked, and in the same condition as they were received.
  • Packaging: All items must be returned in their original packaging.

Return Shipping

Defective Products

Definition of "Defective"

For the purposes of our Return Policy, a product is deemed "Defective" under the following strict criteria:

  • Functional Impairment: The product exhibits a verifiable malfunction or impairment that significantly inhibits its intended operational use or functionality, as explicitly defined by the manufacturer's specifications and operational guidelines.
  • Condition Upon Receipt: The defect must be present in the product upon its initial receipt by the customer, prior to any use, installation, or handling that exceeds the basic inspection necessary to ascertain the product's condition.
  • Exclusions: The following conditions are explicitly excluded from the definition of a "Defective" product:
    • Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality, including any damage incurred in shipping.
    • Normal wear and tear from standard usage.
    • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification or repairs, negligence, or accidents.
    • Issues related to compatibility or interoperability with other products or accessories not supplied by Tier One.
    • Any condition that arises after the product has been used or handled in a manner contrary to its intended design or manufacturer's instructions.

It is imperative that the claim of a defect is substantiated by clear evidence, such as a detailed description of the issue, photographic or video documentation, and, where applicable, diagnostic reports from authorized service professionals.

 

Refunds

  • Inspection and Approval: Upon receipt of the returned item, it will undergo an inspection. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund via email.
  • Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within a specified number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

  • Follow-up Steps: If a refund has not been received, first recheck your bank account, then contact your credit card company and bank as there may be processing delays.
