General Shipping Information
At Tier One, we are committed to ensuring that your products reach you in a timely and efficient manner. Our shipping policies are designed to provide clarity and confidence as you shop with us.
Shipping Destinations and Courier
- Service Area: We offer shipping to North America, exclusively utilizing DHL Express for its reliability and efficiency.
- International Orders: For customers outside North America, please visit our sister site, www.Tier-One.eu, for relevant shipping options.
Shipping Costs and Transit Times
- Transit Times: Most shipments are delivered within 3-6 working days from dispatch. Please note that these times are estimates and may vary based on location and external factors.
- Additional Handling Time: For bipod orders, an additional 24 hours is required for assembly and curing of adhesives to ensure stability during transit.
Shipping Limitations
- Non-Delivery Areas: Deliveries cannot be made to PO Box addresses.
Insurance, Taxes and Duties
- Since 29th August, US Customs and Border Patrol will now charge duties and taxes on every shipment (the previous $800 personal threshold exemption has been removed by the current Administration).
- We have partnered with a Utah company, Zonos to collect and pay these duties and taxes for you.
- At checkout you will see 2 shipping options.
- One shipping rate INCLUDES all duties and taxes. If you select this option, we will collect the duties and remit them to US Customs on your behalf, and you will NOT be required to pay anything else to receive your shipment; the total charge is calculated and paid at checkout.
- If you select the shipping option without duties and taxes included, you will STILL be required to pay those taxes and duties, by law, but they will be charged when the item arrives Stateside. The goods will not be released by US CBP until all duties and taxes have been paid.
- Shipping is by Express tracked courier DHL; if you require a FedEx shipment due to remote location please let us know in the order notes. Please note we cannot deliver to a PO Box address.
Tracking Your Order
- Tracking Information: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email containing a tracking number.
- Package Tracking: To monitor the progress of your shipment, please enter your tracking number on the DHL tracking page.

- Origin: All products are shipped from our own facility in the UK, where they are designed, manufactured and finished in full in a single manufacturing ecosystem ensuring quality and authenticity. Nothing is made in China, EVER!

Universal Base Mount - Night Vision/Thermal
Night vision and thermal optic mount.
The new Universal Base Mount (UBM) delivers night vision and thermal rifle scope users the benefit of a high quality quick detach picatinny mount with our trademark precision and performance built in.
The UBM features our smooth cam QD system which offers micro adjustment and a smooth locking lever action.
Along with three integral recoil lugs, these features help ensure excellent picatinny rail engagement and return to zero properties.
A secure, lightweight mounting rail system for popular thermal optics.
Currently only available for:
- PARD NV008 Night Vision
- Infiray Rico RH thermal riflescopes
- Arken Zulus
- DNT ThermNight - 225R, 335R and 635R
Does not work with PARD NV008S - PARD have changed the screw layout and footprint for this model.
Precision milled from a solid billet of 7075-T6 aluminium alloy for a lightweight, rigid and incredibly strong mount with repeatable accuracy.
The Universal Base Mount weighs 138g including QD hardware and mounting screws. Optic specific rails weight approximately 110g with mounting screws.
Total weight approximately 248g.
Available in Black and Desert Sand.
Comes with the Universal Base Mount and corresponding optic rail.
What Should I Purchase?
The UBM consists of two components: A quick detach mounting plate and an optic rail.
The quick detach mounting plate is a universal fit for any good quality picatinny rail. You need one of these to mount any optic.
The optic rail will only fit your specific Night Vision/Thermal sight, and it interfaces with the quick detach mounting plate to form a single, solid unit. You need the rail that matches your optic.
If you do not already own a Universal Base Mount then you need to buy the full assembly.
If you have previously bought a Universal Base Mount from Tier One, or our retailers, then you can simply add a rail using the 'Rail Only' options from the list below.
